  1.  Thank you for the links to sign the petition. I can't believe California, how frustrating to see the enemy at work. Again thanks for the info and links.

  2. The battle is on! Fortunately, we know that one way or another- God ALWAYS wins!
Lucas and I signed the petitions and I've passed them along to several friends.

  3.  I have a question, will this ruling effect Danica and Ryan homeschooling their children?

  5. I'm laughing my head off in regard to "credentials".
I had to pretty much un-learn everything I learned at SUNY Potsdam so I could develop an effective attitude toward teaching my children. What a disadvantage you have when you're filled with the garbage a worldly liberal arts college has to offer.
    Credentials shmedentials!
    P.S. I'm still laughing.

  10. Unbelievable!  I have been following the situation regarding homeschooling in Germany-this one, however,  is way too close to home.  For Ryan and Danica it IS home.  I had the same thoughts as the above comment regarding R. and D.   The battle is on-right here in the states.  It's time to pray.

  11. I think the chowder would be just fine without the shrimp...I think it's biggest contribution is the texture it adds, since the flavor is so mild.  I think doubling the tilapia would probably give it a richer flavor and a more hearty texture...,maybe I will try that next time ;).  As a main course, it probably easily serves 4-6.  I added a little water to it when I made it last, which made it slightly less flavorful (I couldn't remember whether I had added water the first time I made it...I concluded that I hadn't).  But, with about an extra 3 cups of water (and it still did taste pretty good) it served 6 adults and 2 kids as a main course, with just cornbread and jello to go with it.  Hope that helps!
