You
may recall that we gave Gabriel, Bronwyn, and Jackson a kitchen set for Christmas. We also gave them some
pretend wooden food, which all makes for some great play.
But that's not all they got to set them up for their very own pretend world of cooking and eating.
Danica made them each an apron (even Aubrey has one!), as well as a pair of hot mitts, a hot pad, and two dish towels. I have to say that the linens
make the whole thing. Especially since each apron has their initial embroidered on it!
You've got one talented sister! (well, actually you have 6 talented sisters.)And you can wind up with one of those bags of fresh salsa, if you're interested. We have WAY more than enough.
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness. that just made my day.kisses to all those chubby faces.
ReplyDeleteHow did Daniel's children end up with wooden sushi?
ReplyDeleteSpicy Tuna and Salmon Roe? OK- yum!

ReplyDeletewow that looks like something I would enjoy playing with=) you can tell danica any time she wants to start selling her aprons I'll buy one!!! Garrett got the "cutting food box" by melissa and doug for his birthday. I had never seen anything like it, he loves playing with it! I'm always glad to read the updates on your family.
ReplyDeleteCute photos!!! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOhhh....where did you get the cake set? I got the pizza set, that I think it looks like you have too, before Joy was even born at Ocean City, and we just gave it to her this Christmas...It's so cool with the toppings that velcro on, and is so quality....It looks like the same folks make the cake but I wouldn't know where to find it! Let me know!
ReplyDeleteNever mind, I just saw you had it linked! She's always making birthday cakes out of play dough...I know she'd love that one. Had you seen it in a store though, besides the internet?
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and thoughtful Auntie Danica is! (and SMART too with the initials !!)
ReplyDelete@Newshoundfortruth - I never saw that particular cake set (or the pizza or sushi, for that matter) in person, but I'm familiar enough with Melissa & Doug products that I knew I would really like it. And I'm very pleased with it all! The cake is similar to the pizza in that it has all sorts of toppings and candles that velcro on and can be switched around. Very fun for little hands, I find!
ReplyDelete@LisaMCriscitello - I know! It's too ironic, huh?!?!
