(This is in case you haven't had enough randomness from me lately...)

  1. Is Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace" a  book? I have been trying to convince Danny we need a better system, since I am the stickler with money, and I wasn't sure which book everyone has been recommending.

  2. Huh, that's funny.
I like paying full price for diapers!
    :~)
Do you know how weird it is going to be buying diapers for only ONE?
    Woah.

  3. I also have that same coffee maker, you may notice after a while that it doesn't brew as much as you actually put in. I usually had to add more water because I didn't want it to be too strong. I asked someone else who had it if they noticed that as well and she said, "no I hadn't but now that you said something, it didn't brew as much as I put in." So I think it is just all of these makers that do  that. It makes too much steam at the end and wastes a lot of the water that way. But I still use it fine and I have had it for a year now.AnDi

  4. I too love a hot bowl of soup, pretty much year round.  Candles are so wonderful!  They put me in the most relazed mood and can make my house seem so neat and cozy even if toys are scattered. We have been on the "Dave plan" for almost a year now.  We love it!  My dad is a member and teaches it at their home church.  Since you may not know my father, he has always been a big finance man.  Dave has actually brought a calmer side to his finance frenzy.  No kidding.  My dad used to make me bring a receipt from the corner store after purchasing a peiece of 10 cent candy.  I once returned home without it and he made me go back.  Thankfully, he is not into the receipt thing anymore. There is no other way to be except debt free!

  5. Wow... how similar are my favorite things minus the kiss blowing, although I don't mind receiving them from my girls...  I would have to add some environmental things like fluffy snow, silent forests, mountain views and my chess board.  :)

  6. I have a new coffee maker too!  I asked Jake for a new one for Christmas.. he didn't want to get it because it was a practical gift.  I begged "PLEASE!  I will LOVE it every day of the year!!!!!"  So he got me a much nicer one than I had asked for   And I loooooove it!!  My coffee stays hot for hours... which is essential as some days, I need more than one cup!

  7. Man, that would have been cool! I miss you guys and think of you often. I read up on your blog to try to keep up with what's going on up there. I'd love to see y'all some time after our little girl comes.

  8. There might be a very small, faint, dim light in sight.  Sigh.  The medicine has really saved me on quite a number of occasions.  In a few, ok, more like 4-5 days, I'll be at 10 weeks.  That's encouraging.  I'm throwing a party for myself at 14 weeks.  I really feel like I've lost more weight with this pregnancy than with Ally so I'm trying to fatten myself up before my next visit!
