Gabriel was watching me change Aubrey's diaper, both of us gushing about how cute and tiny and wonderful she is, when he sighed a somewhat sad sigh.
"What is it, Gabriel?"
"Well," he sighed again, "don't you just wish she would stay a baby forever?"
Yeah... I kind of do.
Gabriel also wants to know why all babies have red hair.
I told him not all do-- just the ones born in northern NY.
What a cutie you have! I love the one where she's eating and her little hand is looking for something to touch. My boys liked to rub their heads or touch their hair--that's what her hand reminds me of is when they are searching for their hair. So cute!
ReplyDeletei'm sitting at the kitchen table right now and i read aloud gabriel's wondering about red hair and babies. we laughed and then beans said, "not all babies have red hair -- but the good ones do."

ReplyDeleteVery cute pictures, and a smart observation made by Gabriel. Kids are so sweet.

Her hair looks so red in the first picture!! So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the red hair. I can't get over how tiny she is... just so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteIf that's all it takes to get red-haired babies. . . maybe I'll be making a pilgrimage to the North Country sometime around the end of next April . . . ?
ReplyDeleteShe's getting big!
I just can't get over how old she is looking! The photo with her eyes wide open makes her look like such a BIG girl!
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny how even a 4-year-old has that "do-they-have-to-grow-up-so-fast?" thought. I know they've got to grow up, but I just can't help but wish they wouldn't every now and then. =)
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute,I didn't realize her hair was red....such a Sinclair,huh?
ReplyDeleteI can't get over how absolutely beautiful Aubrey is!
ReplyDeleteWe should get all of the red-haired kids together for a pic. I'll bring Wes over!
Now, was Princess Bronwyn born with Sinclair-red hair? I know that kid's hair color can change a lot, over the first year/few years.
she's so pretty! can't wait to see her in person...
ReplyDeleteShe looks so much older than last time I saw her. That was just a little over two weeks!
ReplyDeleteGabriel's observation & your response made me laugh OUT LOUD! Thanks for sharing that moment - and the awesome pics. :D
