Bronwyn sporting eye-liner (This shot doesn't show her very drawn-on hands and feet!)

The "secret" house (Don't tell them I gave it away!)

Jackson enjoying a hand-me-down toy (Does he have any that aren't hand-me-downs??? Ummm.... nope!)

Our [generally] happy guy!

Gabriel "reading" to Brownyn.

The soundtrack of my life...

Bronwyn "reading" to Baby Hannah in their favorite reading spot!

And, here is the bird's nest on our back deck. I've given strict instructions that no one is allowed to disturb it, though tonight when Daniel went out to grill (very briefly!), the mother bird was frightened away. She flew around frantically and made a lot of noise the entire time he was out there. I, personally, can't wait until the eggs hatch! How cool to watch this all unfold from my kitchen window!

  1. I don't have pictures yet. I haven't even seen her yet, and its killin' me! But as soo as I have them I'll share.
I wish I had a bird nest on my porch.

  4. You know that first picture of Bronwyn is quite scarey! It looks like she is bleeding from her eyes! Good thing you have captions to tell what is really going on.
Did I ever tell you that you are a really good writer? I love your thoughts too! You deserve infinity eProps... those things are odd. But I love the pix and the nest is awesome! I hope the baby birds hatch ok. Oh and my sister called me tonight to tell me she is pregnant again... I wish I could find out what is going on with me! Oh well, probably the two tests are really true. The only thing is that I am not getting my period. Oh well, God knows what's up. I gotta learn to trust Him more. I mean, with Hayla I wound up going to my midwife for the first time at about 5 months along. My family kept telling me, "You have to go," "How can you wait so long to get to the doctor", "what if there is something wrong?" and on and on. At least my midwife did not seem surprised that I waited so long. I'm glad I decided to trust in God over doctors though. After all, pregnancy is a natural God-given process and if you are healthy, you don't have much to worry about. I found this verse and it helped me during that time: Ecclesiastes 11:5. That was a wake up call. I may never understand what is going on with my body but God does and I need to trust Him.

    Sorry this is so long!

  8. brietta, seeing Jackson play with his "bee" reminds me of a time when Gabriel was that small!!!! He happily played with that bee for close to an hour on a road trip to NY=) It also reminded me that I should go through garrett's toys again and pull out the ones that are age appropriate...great pics!!!
