after a bit of searching, i found the story of your sweet baby girl. i'm sorry for your hardships, but am praying for good things to happen! i know, first hand, how hard it is to be separated from your baby, feeling helpless. i'm so happy that you are together. please know that you and your wee one are in our prayers. -bethany
I'm SOOOO glad. (btw, it makes tears come to my eyes when I think of you getting to be with her. If you ever need to have a good postpartum cry, let me know. I'm sure I could cry right along with you!
Praying and Praising with you! I'm sure it's been tough few days having to be parted so you go ahead and hold her as much as you can, you both deserve it! She is precious and God is so good. You did a great job, "Mom"! Congrats to you and we'll be praying for complete healing.
I'm so glad you're together!! When I heard that she was in Syracuse with you behind in Madrid, my heart really ached. How wonderful that you're no longer separated! I wish I could be there with you all right now. Many, many in Indiana are praying for sweet Aubrey and for you and Daniel and the doctors. We love you!
I have cried over this. I have prayed over this. We were praying for you this morning and Jonathan said "who's Brietta?" I said Aubrey's mommy. He said "I like Brietta." I said I do too. It was precious. We are still praying (and sometimes still crying). I am so thankful that you are there. Praise God.
Praying for patience and strength for you and Daniel as you two go through the next few days and weeks. Also, God Bless baby Aubrey that she gains the strength she needs to keep fighting to get better. God is watching over and he is good.
seriouslly . . . the way to get tons of comments and props is to have a baby . . . and then CRAZINESS . . . and then quick post. hmmm . . . i guess i will never be able to pull that card ; )
glad to hear things are slowly getting back to normal. good times . . . good times!!!!
Brietta, you have been so much on my mind these past few days. I just keep thinking about Aubrey's beginning. I knew from the start that she had a HUGE destiny in Christ. He really, REALLY went to great lengths to preserve her physical life. I keep remembering how it was God who told you to take a pregnancy test. I wonder if you had not obeyed His voice would Aubrey be here today? Or would that first bleed have been taken as a first mensus, resulting in her miscarriage? And all the "close calls" that are really MIRACLES throughout your pregnancy... WOW! What a calling there is on this little child's life, even before you knew she was there! Even now I believe the Lord is using her to change hearts. I know my heart has been changed as a result of what she's going through. Hard to explain, but it's true. The Lord is so IN CONTROL!
As for your physical healing, eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies, broths and teas. Rinse off your incision daily and rest as much as possible. I know you know all this stuff, but it makes me feel helpful to say it. LOL! Love you!
So happy for you all, hope all will be great from here on out. I have been praying for you all! I can't believe I was brought to tears as I read all the news updates. I don't even know this child and probably wont very much. But when your a mom and are expecting, you tend to get emotional for other mom's who may not have it so easy. Although one day I may have the same type of need and I know people will be vigilantly praying.
So very glad you are all together!! Much love and continued prayers...

ReplyDeleteOh...if you get a chance...what was her length and weight when she was born? She looked perfect, like Phyllis says, and seemed a good size...
