When doing laundry...
...if using 1/2 as much laundry detergent as recommended (which I must say I do not do) and as little warm/hot water as needed (which I do) is frugal
...then what is doing 3 loads of laundry (including drying) only to realize you never added any detergent at all???
Ugh.
I'm having a flashback to the day I mowed the entire lawn without the blades turned on. I don't mean that the deck was up, I mean I never even turned the blades on. Yikes.

ReplyDeleteHehe... I believe that would be "cheap" -unless of course you are a mom of 3 young children all at home -then it's just "a-day-in-the-life-of" ...
ReplyDeleteOh boy... that kind of absent-mindedness almost sounds pregnant! I once washed an entire load of dishes, by hand, and on the last two cups realized I didn't use dish soap. I stomped a fit and cried for 20 minutes. I was also 10yrs old. Almost sounds like something I would do as an adult! 8-(

that is too funny - but i can't say i've never done it. actually, i've added detergent and no clothes, on more than one occasion... oops!
