Today didn't end up being a "last day of summer" type of day. The rain and cold made it, instead, a celebration of the new season.

I didn't mind.

Any excuse to take a nap with a blanket, bust open the hot cocoa, put Bronwyn in a thick pair of tights, and don hats on the boys is pretty okay with me.

Gonna eat out tonight!

  2. Oh my goodness... your kids look so cute in these pictures! Fall clothes are so much fun, tights in particular. Mariah wore her first pair to church on Sunday-what a joke! They looked like pants! Bronwyn sports them with much more style. =)

  4. Thanks for the comment.  I have the kind of sense of humor that most people do not understand.
You kids are adorable.  I was talking to Eric and Jen in church and Eric told me how much he loves seeing the pics of your kids on your blog.   Tights have long been a favorite with me.  I love the ones from LL Bean and Land's End for all three of "my girls".

  5. Had to laugh at the no dresses. Doesn't matter how comfortable you are with nursing and how the dress is put together.... too many people get to "see" to much! not fun
I don't know you and Daniel real well, but you two seem to have a good relationship!
Perhaps you could "dote" on Daniel when he is preparing to share with the college group. "What are you working on?" "Do you want to run it by me?" Have one of those nice aunts that live up the road come by.... and you and Daniel could slip outside, he could do a trial run of what he plans on sharing.
Venture out with the whole tribe of children and look at potential buildings for the college group. The children will survive being out, & you will have at least been with Daniel.
Send him a fun email & a cards to the church. It would be fun to get a "romantic" card in the church in box and not just "business" stuff.
Like I said, sometimes we second guess our ideas as being dumb, so you could always ask. What would make you feel special, is there anything you have missed doing that we could do again, etc.
Men are simple creatures, women are complex. I have to remind myself not to get too caught up in the deluxe ideas. Relax, have fun, this is your completion... God choose him for you.... obviously He felt we could handle the job!

  7. When you go the Field's coffee house, pray for my friend Gloria. She went to high school with Eric and I and she bought the place a couple of years back. She really loves our family but is going to need to be prayed in, if ya know what I mean. I figure that with Rit & Deb, the Molinero's, and now (hopefully)you guys praying when we go in, she doesn't stand a chance! :~)

  9. HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY! Your sister (Louissa) has pix of your little family party and your hair was SO cute in the pic. Your hair is normally though. So 24 is a great #. I will be 21 on the 21st. It will be my golden b-day. Its not a huge deal because I am not a drinker either. lol. Have a great b-day!
