Me

I am watching tennis.

I have indigestion and heartburn after eating a slice of whole wheat toast and an apple.

I went grocery shopping this morning.

I feel alternately frustrated by and grateful for WIC.

I miss Daniel.

I like that it's much, much cooler today.

I think I weigh about 20lbs more than I did 6 months ago.

I appreciate clothes that don't have to be ironed.

I hope to visit Europe one day.

  1. I am appreciating the cooler weather as well. I have had about enough of midwest summer weather, 90's and high humidity, and it is only the end of June. We are having a bit of a break, today is only in the 70's, and I am loving it. I think I need to move farther north next time.

  3. I would love to visit Europe one day, too! Maybe when our kids are older, we can arrange some fun, educational trip overseas. I am hoping to get my kids to a point of being trilingual, so maybe they'll get to use that knowledge!
It was wonderful seeing you today. I absolutely love your kiddos. Bronwyn got me with her beautiful, sparkly eyes and sweet demeanor, Gabriel won me over with his straightforward, loving big brother role, and I love Jack's signature Sinclair red hair and the fact that he can say so much without saying a word. It's clear that you're a great mama!
I hope I get to see you again, sometime soon. Hopefully my kids won't get into so much next time!

  5. Ummmmm. Random. You're not getting enough sleep are you? Oh, wait - that would be both of us. ;) Maybe sleeping pills for the kids tonight? haha.

  6. Europe would be nice someday. Tim won't fly, though, so for us, it would be a very long (and expensive)trip by boat.

  7. Do you have expanded cable or are they televising tennis on network stations?  I would love to watch but didn't think they would televise on weekdays.  So I guess I'm asking when and on what station are you watching it??  Are the finals this weekend??
P.S.  Watching it always makes me wish I could play.  I should have invested my time into a sport that has longer staying power than soccer.  Oh well...maybe I'll take up golf!?

  8. I completely understand.  I figured since you weren't at your house, you might have more access to such stations!!  Enjoy the matches!

  9. Feeling yucky with Daniel away isn't fun!  (Even if nothing would really be different, I somehow feel better having a husband around home when I'm feeling yucky!)
Isn't it strange how every pregnancy is different?  In my mind, I think "I'm pregnant.  I've spent much of the last four years pregnant.  There's nothing new to think about.." but there is!  It's amazing how different each baby is even in the womb!
As far as coming over, I think that Monday will be fine at this point. We are ecxpecting Ryan home from FL (with Grandpa, his Dad and Dad's new car, the minivan and Jarrod) sometime late Sunday.  As long as that all works out and nothings crazy, I think that Monday will work fine.  I'll be in touch.
Oh, and when does Daniel come home?  I can't remember how long the trip is...

  10. it's funny, as i read over your post i was trying to figure out which of the random things i should comment on=) i would have to say that i can relate the most to the indigestion and heartburn and NOT ironing clothes!! i still cringe when i go to eat a banana (for some reason they REALLY bother me when i am pregnant) and i pretty much only iron for weddings or if micah is preaching. i hope that the rest of your time with your family goes well.

  12. I sympathize with the heartburn. Have you ever tried drinking Herbal Aloe? I live on that stuff when I'm PG. It's one of the many GREAT prducts we sell. If you're interested in more info please message me. (Since it's natural there really no limit as to how much you drink per day and there's no harmful side effects!)

  14. Hey, I was just thinking through today and tomorrow.  Are you guys busy, or are you just hanging out.  We don't have anything planned other than vacuuming up the insane amount of cheerios that are still on my floor from a little Aidan mishap yesterday morning... So, if you're just aound let me know and we can pop over or you could come here or we could meet at a park or something too.
