Bronwyn Quote

How many days until I'm a bride and a mama? she asks.

Thousands and thousands, I tell her, grinning at her scrunched nose and inquisitive eyes.

Thousands and thousands?! is her incredulous reply. Then she shrugs her shoulders, That's cool. She pauses, obviously in thought, and then she says with a sigh, I'm really tired.

  1. Brietta,
I was wondering if you had kids in the nursery with Lois? They might have been exposed to Lice.
    So sorry

  3. Brietta - I read the above comment: if your kids were exposed to lice, tell me and I'll send you some shampoo and soap with tea tree oil in it right away (it kills the lice).Anyway   that's beautiful.  My girls look forward to it too.  The other day when I was nursing Shiloh, Nora said "Mamma when I have babies I'm going to nurse them too, so they get the good milk."  I'm not sure where "good milk" came from, but she's right on with that!

  4. Yup, she is just like Ashlyn.    I love the innocence of it all.  Then there are the days you can almost see the estrogen coming from Ashlyn -those are the scary ones LOL!!
Did Daniel tell you that I saw him outside Save-A-Lot?  I realized afterwards that he might not have known exactly who I was -just that I was familiar...  If that is the case, it was me   I was hoping to have you all over sometime soon but sounds like you are busy!  Let me know though...

  5. Kid quotes are my favorite.  You can never tire of them.  Especially, when they are such good ones!

  6. So cute!  And about Steph's comment, Lois might have been in the infant nursery for a very very short time.  She wouldn't let go of Rich, so he was hanging out in the hall. (where I was too)

  7. ryc: I'm not really weaning him, but he's down to only one good nursing a day, plus a few of those 5-min.-long "I need to nurse!" feedings thrown in for good measure. The cutback is more his idea than mine, but I really thought by now that my milk supply was down enough that I wouldn't have to worry about this. Ugh. Apparently not! Thankfully I'm on the upswing. :) (Oh, and I saw you got the "true" badge; congrats!! :))
