It's cute how excited Daniel looks bringing her home... like it's your 'first' baby. I love how exciting and 'new' each one is. So special! Is that the pink blanket I made???
How did you come up with the name for her? Do you watch Lost at all? I know that is how I chose Evangeline. I kept seeing that one name in the beginning credits when they show all the cast names, it just stuck. I love all the pictures, so nice and happy big family!
@AndiBean85 - You know, I just went through the baby name book and wrote down every 3- or 4-syllable name I liked the sound & meaning of (I wanted a longer middle name with Claire). I then made a list of 4 potential middle names and gave it to Daniel less than 24 hours before Claire was born. I told him that I would be perfectly happy with any of the 4-- Evangeline was 1 of them-- and as soon as we knew we had a girl, he asked, "Claire Evangeline?" and I agreed: that was her name! No terrific story there... but that's how it happened!
That is a perfectly good story of how she got her name. We came up with Maria Evangeline on our way to Walmart the night before I went into labor with Maria. We were talking about what we should name the baby if by chance it was a girl and he loved Maria, which I wasn't fond of since I have known some not so nice Maria's. I said if you get to choose the first name I get the middle name. So I chose Evangeline since it was so pretty and it was the one name that kept hitting my eyes every time I watched LOST. lol. So that is as good as my story goes too, not that great. Hayla was a different story and I made it up (so I thought because I never heard it before) before we got married I believe.

Keep up the beautiful work with raising those precious babies! You are an inspiration to so many! P.S.
